provo city center open house

Nik and I were lucky and got tickets to the Provo city center temple open house!  After trying to get tickets online for quite a while we finally got some.  The temple was very pretty on the inside.  I loved seeing all the stain glass throughout the temple.  The stain glass picture of Christ was one of my favorites.  It was so unique and beautiful.

I loved seeing all the arcs in the interior.  They definitely made it a very unique temple.  The celestial room is always so pretty in each temple.  The stairs and wood throughout the whole temple was beautiful.  It always amazes me how much detail they put into every little thing.

One of my favorites was seeing the baptismal font.  It was so stunning with all the granite.  All the photos from inside the temple can be found here!  We're so thankful that we have so many temples so close to us.  I can't wait to go back and do a session in the temple once it is dedicated!

2015 in review

I'd have to say 2015 just might be the very best year so far.  2015 consisted of endless memories and blessings so I thought I'd share a few.  We can't wait for all of our adventures together in 2016.

2015 began with me going back to Rexburg and starting my last semester of college.  I accepted an internship with Intermountain Healthcare in their security operations center.

February 14th we were engaged!  Nik proposed at temple square on valentine's day.

Nik was busy working and going to school.  I was busy with school and doing the wedding planning.  I tried on my mom's wedding dress which was fun!

I graduated with my bachelor's degree in computer information technology from BYU-Idaho!  I'm so thankful for everyone who helped me accomplish this goal.

Jenna and Billy got married May 7th in the Salt Lake Temple!  I got to take their engagement pictures!

I turned 22, summer time, and the wedding was a month away.  Couldn't get much better than that!
We also took our bridal photos while it was 100 degrees.

July was full of many fun adventures.  Nik came with my family on our yearly lake powell trip.  Nothing can beat lake powell in the summer time!  July 15th I took my endowment out at the Draper temple.  Nik and I were sealed for time and all eternity on July 21st!  Afterwards we headed to southern California for our honeymoon!

We moved into our apartment!  We love having our own little place to call home.

Nik got a new job at TOSH in their supply chain.  It's close to home, weekends off, and works with his school schedule!  We did a lot of fishing and fun adventures together.

I started my career with Venafi as a security analyst!  We went on lots of fun drives through the canyons to see the fall leaves.

We spent a lot of time with family and enjoyed Thanksgiving together!  Oh, and you can't forget chick-fil-a peppermint shakes!

Emily left on her mission to Rosario, Argentina!  Nik turned 23 and we celebrated our first married Christmas together!
